Member Duties:

VISTA members will serve as Development Associates. In this role, they will use their talents and creativity to recruit and develop volunteers and partners, contribute to the agency’s strategic marketing and communication efforts, and engage in developing revenue by establishing relationships with foundations, corporations, and individuals and planning and executing events. 

Service Description:

VISTA members help build the capacity of organizations that are working to alleviate poverty all across the country. Being an AmeriCorps VISTA member is about making a tangible difference for communities and individuals dealing with some of our Nation’s biggest challenges: poverty, inequity, homelessness, and lack of access to education.

Program Benefits:

Full-time Members will receive a living stipend of $12,312.00 and earn an Education Award of $6,095.00 upon successful completion of service. Other benefits include Training, Health Coverage, forbearance on qualifying student loans and Childcare assistance if eligible.
